Catch Up Before the Storm: A Reader's Guide to the Moonfire Legacy

Storm of Blood and Bone lands Friday, July 31, and if you have been meaning to start the Moonfire Legacy, this is the week to do it. Two books are out, they read fast, and they set up everything the third one is about to detonate. Here is where to begin.

Crown of Moonfire is Book 1 and the heart of the whole series. A half-blood omega princess, Aria Vale, survives the coup that destroys her family and runs into the dark with her mother's last command: hide at Moonspire Academy. There, forced to be no one, she collides with Caelan Draven, the cursed alpha every other institution refused to take, and forms a mate bond the old laws swear is impossible. It is hiding in plain sight, a slow and dangerous pull, and the beginning of everything.

Shadow of the Fae is Book 2, and it trades the academy for a court. Aria wears the crown now, and the Summer Court arrives to test it, led by Prince Dain, a fae envoy who deals in glamour and temptation and wants both her sovereignty and her as mate. The world widens, the politics sharpen, and the bond takes its first real hit.

Which brings us to Book 3. In Storm of Blood and Bone, the danger turns inward: a rival omega queen brands Aria's reforms heresy and raises a rebellion, Caelan watches his own kin waver, and a deeper power begins to awaken in Aria's blood. Read the first two this week, and you will be ready when the storm breaks Friday.
